Realme Narzo10A Review – Excellent battery backup, great gaming performance and budget-friendly

Realme India launched last month the Narzo 10 series smartphones in India. On stage, the company also unveiled the Narzo 10A and Narzo 10A smartphones. During the launch announcement, the company said that this line was targeted at young people who have limited budgets. The company stated that the device could provide decent gaming without costing too much. The Narzo 10 has been tested and is a worthwhile purchase.

If you are on a budget, the 10A is an affordable alternative. Both devices have similar specifications, including their battery sizes and display sizes. The device costs Rs 8,499 and comes with a Helio G70 SoC, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and 3GB RAM. Buyers can choose between “So Blue” and “So White” color options. Let’s get into the performance and features of Realme Narzo10A. Also read: Realme Narzo10A Sale Tomorrow in India: Prices, key features, availability online and offline

Design Quality

This section focuses on the Realme Narzo 10A’s design and build quality. The smartphone features a beautiful design with soft plastic texture at its back. Its seamless body is made of plastic and has a soft texture that gives it a premium feel. The device is available in two colors. I prefer So White to look more elegant than So Blue. The smartphone includes a speaker grille as well as a stereo socket that is 3.5mm in size. The bottom has a microUSB connector. On the right and left sides of the smartphone, you will find the volume buttons, SIM-tray, and power buttons.

The device’s backside features a large “realme branding” located to its right. This device’s upper half also includes a physical fingerprint scanner. The upper left corner also features a triple camera setup and a single LED flash. The front has a large, 6.5-inch display with a Minidrop notch and a ratio of 20/9. Excellent build quality. Narzo 10A does not come with a TPU case. This case is perfect for people who need protection from dirt and peace of mind.

Realme Narzo 11A: Software and display experience

It is nearly identical to the Narzo 10 review. It has a 5.5-inch display and a 20/9 aspect ratio. The screen-to-body ratio is 89.8 percent. It has a resolution 1,600×720 pixels as well as Corning Gorilla Glass. A dedicated night mode is available. The panel is well lit and bright. Direct sunlight can cause problems, so it is best to seek shade. The color reproduction is superb, even though the brightness drops when you look at it from extreme angles. Despite being quite reflective, the display still represents a great value for money. The 10A, like Narzo 10, has HD+ resolution. It also comes with Widevine L3 security certificates. This means that you won’t be able to view HD videos on Amazon Prime Video and Netflix.

The Last Dance on Netflix

10A features Android 10-based Realme UI 1.0 builtnumber RMX2020_11_A.21. Realme UI is identical, however you can delete bloatware apps and get additional features. These include App Cloner, Split screen, Game Space, Split screen, and “realme Lab” to backup Digitial Wellbeing. Smart Sidebar, assistive ball and themes-based customization are just some examples. The experience is generally good, with slow animations but fluid behavior.

Realme Narzo 10A uses a MediaTek Helio G70 SOC instead of the Narzo 10’s G80. The G70 features 8 CPU cores and a Mali G52 graphics card. It is manufactured in 12nm. The G70 has 3GB dual-channel LPDDR4X RAM with 32GB internal storage. A microSD card slot is available. The 10A supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE, GPS, dual SIM, multiple sensors, Wi-Fi, and WiFi. These sensors include light and proximity, magnetic induction as well as accelerometer and fingerprint. These specs are comparable to similar products in the same price range. Let’s find out how they perform in real life.

Daily Use

10A was stable in daily use without jitters and interrupting lag. There were fewer apps to load and less app reloads with 3GB RAM. You can still use at least 4-5 good apps. It is easy for casual users to switch between three to four apps (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, and SMS). Multitasking can be difficult with heavier apps, such as games, but it shouldn’t surprise.

Let’s talk about the Realme Narzo 10A’s gaming performance. Realme said that the Narzo 10A was budget-friendly and provides a great gaming experience. The 10A is similar to the 10. It delivers as promised. The overall performance of titles such as PUBG Mobile or Call of Duty: Mobile is very similar to the 10. Monument Valley, Asphalt 9, Temple Run 2, and many other games work well. For context, I was able to run PUBG Mobile at HD resolution at ‘High’ frame speeds and Call of Duty Mobile with ‘Low’ graphics quality at a ‘Medium” frame rate.

However, heating and touch response times were slow. After a few minutes of gaming the 10A became toasty, but it still performed well. A case may be necessary to cover the head of the device at the back. To allow the device to cool down faster after a session of gaming, it is best to cover it. The device takes around 10-15 minutes to cool down. Similar to the 10, screen recording while gaming renders it unplayable.

Features and performance of the Realme Narzo 10A digital camera

Realme Narzo10A features a 12-megapixel primary camera sensor and a 2-megapixel portrait lens. There are also two 2-megapixel macro lenses. Front features a 5-megapixel camera that has an aperture of f/2.4. The company included an LED flash unit in addition to the triple camera setup. Software features include “Video”, “Photo”, Portrait, Ultra Macro, “Time-Lapse”, “Time-Lapse”, Pano, Expert, and Pano modes. Filters, HDR, Chroma Boost, and filters are also available. You can also adjust the aspect ratio, toggle timingr and shutter sound. These options are available in the Camera “Settings”, Narzo 10A.

The 10A’s camera is the most vulnerable component of its performance. The primary camera can capture decent images under ideal lighting conditions. Under good lighting conditions, images can be sharpened and have details. Images can also show noise. Blotted highlights and washed-out colors can affect the dynamic range. Portrait lenses achieve a good level of background separation. These images can be uploaded to social media. The macro lens doesn’t have the same utility because it includes noise regardless of lighting conditions.

Low-light photos are more likely to be blurred and unorganized. The 5-megapixel camera doesn’t do a great job of capturing details or texture. The software can transform the user into an artist by default enabling beauty mode. The camera isn’t expensive but don’t expect too much.

Realme also included a massive 5,000mAh battery, 10W charging adapter and reverse-charging support. With a powerful battery backup, the 10A is a formidable competitor in this market. It lasted about 1.35 days or 33-34 hours during normal workdays. It includes 4 emails per day, 1-1.25 hours of video and audio streaming, 1-1.5 hour gaming, 10-15 minutes of calls, and 7-8 images.

By hammering the battery on non-work days, we were able to achieve 12-14 hours of battery life. Gaming took between 7 and 7.5 hours. Realme UI offers multiple power-saving and performance modes. This device has screen battery optimization and an app quick freeze. The only problem is the charging time. It takes approximately three hours for the 10W charger to fully charge the battery, from 0 to 100 percent.

The smartphone’s impressive backup is one of its best features. You can charge your phone even while you sleep. It can be frustrating to have your phone charged while you’re playing games or performing other tasks. Make sure the charging outlet is turned on before you go to sleep.

Do You Need the Realme Narzo 10A

Realme Narzo 10A seems like it is living up to its claims. This smartphone is ideal for gamers with tight budgets. This smartphone is ideal for students starting college, or those who are first using smartphones. Tendency to economic environment caused by coronavirus makes 10A an excellent choice for people who like to play games but not in a competitive manner.

It is a fantastic combination of design, performance, software, and hardware. There are some issues, such as slow charging speeds, L3 certification and camera speed. The price for this smartphone is Rs 8,499. This smartphone has the same hardware as Realme C3, but it comes with a better design and an additional camera. If you are on a budget, the Realme C3 is an option. Save your money and purchase the Realme 5i. You can also take a look at the Vivo U10 and Xiaomi Redmi 8 before you make a purchase.
