Poco F3 GT Review 2021

Poco introduced the Poco F3 GT India in less than three years after the launch of Poco F1. The successor might be even more popular. The Poco F3 GT will compete with the OnePlus Nord 2 within the mid-premium segment, and even take on gaming smart phones from Asus ROG. Poco F3 GT also marks the company’s move towards premium products. This phone is a first for Poco, including an AMOLED screen, a 67W fast charging charger, and neck buttons.

Poco F3 GT price in India is Rs 26,999 for 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, Rs 28,999 to buy the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, and Rs 29,999 for the 8GB Ram and 128GB storage, while the 8GB RAM variant and the 256GB storage version will cost Rs 30,999. It is definitely more than you would pay for any other Poco phone in India, but it’s still a great deal considering what’s available. It gives OnePlus Nord 2 a genuine competitor.

We will discuss the performance and other aspects of the phone in our detailed review. I have only had the phone for a few days and these are my first impressions.

Poco F3 GT : Design

Poco F3 GT is without doubt the premium smartphone. The Gunmetal Silver color variant I own further enhances the already exuberant design. This one isn’t prone to fingerprint smudges, which is a good thing considering the rest of the Predator Black variations. This one seems to have a reflective back panel.

Poco F3 GT measures 8.3mm thick and weighs in at 205gms. The Poco F3 GT is heavy and bulky, but it can still compete with ROG phones. It is a shame that the Poco F3 GT doesn’t have a 3.5mm headset jack, despite its thickness. The box contains a type-C adapter that converts USB to 3.5mm.

The two pop-up shoulder buttons that appear when you unlock the Poco F3 GT are a significant feature. These have a high reaction rate and can be used to give you an advantage over your opponents while playing Call of Duty Mobile.

Poco F3 GT : Display

Poco has also improved its front-side design and prepared the GT with everything you need. This smartphone has a 6.67 inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that supports 120Hz refresh HDR 10+ and DC dimming. This panel can also be 10-bit, so you can achieve really vivid tints. Corning Glass protects your phone.

The display’s bezels are very slim. However, I could not help but imagine how stunning this phone would have looked with a display that was edge-to-edge. Unfortunately, this is not possible with a phone designed for video gaming.

Although the gap punch for the selfie camera may be small, it includes a thick black band that makes it appear larger. Poco could also have chosen an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Poco F3 GT : Performance

MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC is used in the Poco F3 GT. This chipset has the exact same capabilities as the OnePlus Nord 2 (albeit a modified one) and is quickly becoming the preferred choice for smartphone manufacturers in the mid-premium segment. It will be a decent chipset, capable of handling many tasks seamlessly but also has some limitations.

I didn’t have the option to run COD at maximum framework and photos. The phone also got slightly warm when I was clicking on features. These are minor issues, but they are still early days. I’ll soon be testing the phone further in the coming days. Please wait for our complete review to see the final verdict on the Poco F3 GT.

The neck buttons and stereo that is twin are two features that really stand out in terms of performance. The Poco F3 GT speakers are loud and clear. This will be a great experience for gamers and users who stream videos on the phone. As I said earlier, the neck buttons have an amazing response rate. You can map them from Game Space to gain an advantage over the other players.

Poco F3 GT : Camera

Poco also appears to be doing some ongoing work in another area. The Poco F3 GT features a triple rear camera system with a 64-megapixel primary, an 8-megapixel ultrawide and a macro 2-megapixel sensor. You will also find a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

Camera app has many options, including Photo, Portrait, Mode and Dual Video. Clone is also available. The rear camera records 4K videos at 30fps, while the front can only record 1080p at 30fps.

We took a few photos using the ultra-wide angle associated with Poco F3 GT. They turned out well. Both the close-up shots of landscape were sharp and beautiful. The wider shots also retained a lot of detail. Below is an image.

This Poco F3 GT’s biggest weakness is the front camera. Many selfies got burned on multiple occasions. Skin tones and skin tones weren’t as good as you would expect. Needless to state, I am using the Poco F3 GT more than usual. Stay tuned for India Today Tech’s detailed review of the digital camera.

Poco F3 GT : Battery

Poco F3 GT comes with a 5065mAh battery pack. This should be sufficient for most users, gamers included. Poco ships a 67W charger, which is quite impressive. This is also a problem for the premium Xiaomi phones.

The l-shaped charging port makes it easier to charge your phone while you are gaming.

Poco F3 GT: Initial impressions

The Poco F1 was a hit with smartphone lovers and became a cult in India. Poco F3 GT could be a new chapter for the Poco, which could see it compete with OnePlus more aggressively. The Poco F3 GT, while being promoted as a smartphone for video gaming, is much more.

It offers a lot of great features and is priced very well. This smartphone is definitely worth the hype. You can read our full review. Keep checking back!

Is POCO F3 GT your gaming phone?

We are still working on our full review, but we can tell you that POCOF3 GT has a lot of features, particularly for mobile gamers. The triggers provide a handheld-console-like experience while playing video games. It’s also encouraging to see technology trickle down to the mid-range segment. The package is healthy and features a beautiful display with super-fast charge.

You have another chance to check the battery life of popular phones by using the 67W fast charger. It would be fascinating to see which phone will offer the fastest charging speed, the OnePlus Nord 2 and the iQOO 7. Keep checking back for the Epic Battery Test, which will be dropping soon.
