OPPO Find X2 Pro Gaming Review

  • Call of Duty Mobile for the OPPO Find X2 Pro

The OPPO Find X2 Pro features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset and 12GB RAM. It boasts a 6.7 inch display and a 120Hz refresh speed.

I played some popular mobile games, and measured the average frame rate with GameBench Pro to test its gaming performance. I am particularly curious to see if the device can achieve 120 frames per second, which is double the 60 frame rate for most mobile games.

  • Mobile Legends: Bang Bang

Mobile Legends was the first game I tried on the OPPO Find X2 Pro. I tried to set all graphics options at maximum value, but the ULTRA graphics quality was disabled as of writing.

With the graphics quality set at HIGH, I began the Mobile Legends gaming test. Shadows, character outline, and HFR mode were all enabled.

GameBench Pro measured the resulting average frame rate at 60 FPS, with 100% stability.

This means that the game ran smoothly, even during battles with enemy heroes. Frame drops and lags were absent. I hope the ULTRA graphics feature will soon be available for the device.

  • Mobile Call of Duty

The OPPO Find X2 Pro supports Call of Duty Mobile’s ULTRA HIGH graphics. During the test, I set the frame rate to MAX.

GameBench reported a frame rate of 60 FPS after a Frontline match on Nuketown’s map. Even when playing against multiple enemies simultaneously, the game felt smooth and fluid. It is easy to win the battle because the player’s reaction speed slightly increases.

This is only half the phone’s maximum frame rate. If the game allows, it can do even more.

  • NBA 2K20

While playing NBA 2K20 on my realme 6, I was able to achieve 90 frames per second. So I was excited to see if the game runs at the same frame rate on the OPPO GameBench Pro recorded an average frame rate at 60 FPS. Although it’s a great experience, I expected more.

I tried to set the video or graphics options to the lowest settings but it didn’t exceed 60 FPS. I tried changing the settings of the device, such as turning on Performance mode or lowering the screen resolution. To no avail.

  • PUBG Mobile

PUBG Mobile allows all graphics options to be enabled on the OPPO Find X2 Pro, just like Call of Duty Mobile. During the test, I set it up to HDR graphics quality with an EXTREME framerate.

It was almost like nothing! Although the average frame rate is still 60 FPS, it has 99% stability.

Although there were a few frame drops in a match, it was minimal compared to overall smoothness. It’s still limited at 60 FPS and does not fully utilize the 120Hz display.
